SO YUMMY! I cooked up this recipe today by blending a really healthy one with a really yummy one. The result is delicious whole grain chocolate chip cookies (not exactly healthy, but less bad for you).
Katie's Chocolate Chip Cookies
1/2 cup Butter
1/2 cup Peanut Butter
3/4 cup Sugar
3/4 cup Brown sugar
2 Eggs
2 tsp Vanilla
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 cup Oatmeal
1.25 cup Wheat Flour
1/2 to 1 Package Chocolate Chips
1/4 cup Chopped nuts (optional)- Beat Butter and Sugars till Fluffy
- Add eggs, vanilla, salt and peanut butter and mix
- Stir in oats, baking soda and flour slowly and mix until blended
- Stir in chocolate chips and nuts
- Drop on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes
